Friends Of TASS

Friends of Tavistock Area Support Services was set up by Trustees to help support the everyday running of the services provided by the Charity.

The launch of our re-furbished Charity Shop, with The Manager of M&Co Tavistock who kindly donated fixtures and fittings.

We raise funds for TASS by selling donated items in our shop.

We also raise funds for TASS by selling donated goods at our organised events.

These include Christmas Fairs and Book Sales that are held at The Anchorage Centre, and the Annual Charity Bonanza held at Tavistock Pannier Market.

We organise the Summer Grand Raffle where all prizes are donated by local businesses.

Friends Group – raised over £470 from the Book Sale held at the end of March.	Sponzi’s Italian Delicatessen Tavistock donated £27.50 from their Wishing Well.

We currently require:

Domiciliary Workers: This role involves general housework for TASS Clients. Hours vary according to Clients requirements.
Self employed £6 per hour.
Volunteers: We are looking for people able to work three hour shifts in our Charity Shop.
